Hello and welcome to my first ever nail art blog post. Hopefully someone will read this and that there will be many more posts to come.
Today's nails had some unlikely inspiration by way of a bottle of soft drink. As you'll see if you look to the left.
My brother and I were out for lunch when I noticed the design on my bottle of Orange and Passionfruit Deep Spring Mineral Water*. The label consisted of a purple to white gradient with oranges and passionfruits enclosed in a splash of water. I immediately set out to recreate the idea on my nails.
I forgot to take pictures of the polishes and equipment I used but I've included the information below so you may recreate the look if you wish.
The Polishes (and their uses)
The Equipment
Some old make up sponges for the gradient
and toothpicks to do the orange and passionfruit details.
I've included some pictures below for you to enjoy. I have to give a shout out to my brother, Mark, for helping me take them. Enjoy!
*I have no affiliation with Deep Spring mineral water but damn it was tasty and gave me some good inspiration.

The Polishes (and their uses)
- Sinful Colors Professionals in Snow Me White
- BC Co. in Shade 11 (Black)
- Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant in Grapevine
- The Orange is a Revlon colour which I think is called tangerine but don't quote me on that.
