I stopped painting my nails for a few days due to my nails being a little worse for wear. I'm not very good at nail maintenance but I now have a moisturising routine going so hopefully it will stop my dry cuticles and peeling nails.
Today's art was done pretty quickly whilst watching Eurovision (disappointed Cake to Bake did not make the finals. It's ok Latvia, I still love you). I had a pretty good idea in my head that I would do pink and green Candy Stripes on each nail and then paint a wrapped lolly as a feature. Needless to say it didn't quite work out that way...

As you can see the lolly kind of turned into a bow and the Candy stripes were quickly replaced by random patterns. The reason the candy stripes were changed was because I was going to using striping tape to make the pattern, but the lines ended up looking thin and I just ended up freehanding them. Because they were kind of messy, I decided to just go with it. I kind of like them however, they're slightly quirky. I'll just have to practice more until I get perfect.
Until next time...
